Baden Prince is an established artist on the Live Literature scene, with performance credits at most of London’s major events to his name. His poems have been published in Rising, X-Bout and Unpublished magazines and a prose memoir, The Bag Man, was published in The Rose & Thorn E-zine. The Shadow Dancer, his first collection of poems, was published in December 2004 by the tall-lighthouse.
Under the heading of T’Bone Promotions, Baden Prince promotes and hosts east London’s popular “Speakeasy”. He has held a residency in partnership with the London Borough of Havering’s Library Service has been board member of Spread The Word.
Baden Prince has developed a programme of workshops for schools for both Apples & Snakes and on a freelance basis. His long term projects include Islington Music Forum and the Victoria & Albert Museum and working with Hackney Museum as part of their Abolition 07 exhibition. Baden Prince has also worked on a six-month project for Mellow in conjunction with East London & City Mental Health Trust.
Baden is well-known as a talented and dynamic performer on the spoken word scene in London and also hosts his own popular monthly event.
